powerpoint vocabulary

*presentation-is an formal or informal report,usually given orally.

*thumbnails-a small size view of a slide in a power presentation.

*splitter bars-in power point one of the narrow bars taht seperates the left slide and notes panes in normal view.

*title slide-the first slide in a power point presentation that displays the main topicof the presentation.

*title-in power point the main topic of the presentaion or slide the first line of the text on slide.

*placeholder-in word formatted text within a templete file that you can replace with your own text.

*title area-in power point a place holder that reserves space for a slides title

*text area-In power point a place holder that reserves space for a subtittl or a numbered or bullited list.

*object area- a place holderon a power point slide that is reserving space for objects such as tables,chartsor graphic images.

*Rich Text Format-a file format with extention that enables the text in the file .

*AutoContent Wizard- a tool to help power point users create a presentation easily by using a set of propergrammen slide layots a designed tempelate and boilerplate text.

*boilerplate text -standard text that is appropiate for the type of presentation selected when using power point auto commect wizard.

*indent level-in pwer point a number that indicates an importance of a subtitle in relation of the title.

*promote-in power point to raise the level of a subtitl so that it has a smaller ident.

*demote-in power point to lower the level of a subtitle so that it has a large indent and a smaller type.

*object-in power point a nontext element such as a char, table ,clip art image picture ,phote ,movieclip,an another type of information.

*subtitl-in power point andy text in one or two columbs or a bulleted item in a list that follows the titl and gives more detail about the title
